On your Mac
Wardbar reads process information and your AI agents' local logs to show ports, agents, tokens and cost. It decodes only usage fields, never message content, unless you turn on conversations for your phone: Wardbar then reads the conversation you open on the phone, and sends it there end-to-end encrypted. Daily history is stored on your Mac in ~/Library/Application Support/Wardbar, readable only by your user.
Account
Pro, the phone app and teams need an account. We store your email address, your name and avatar if you sign in with Google or GitHub, your sessions (with the IP address and device that opened them) and your team memberships. Sign-in and invitation emails are sent through Resend. Your Mac keeps its sign-in token in your keychain. Purchases are linked to your account by its id at Polar, our payment provider.
Phone app
Your Mac and phone share keys when you scan the pairing code, and everything between them is end-to-end encrypted. Our relay passes sealed messages along and wakes your phone through Apple's push service (iPhone) or Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android). It stores a pair id, hashed access tokens, your phone's push token and the account that paired, to check the team plan. It can't read agent names, statuses, conversations, your replies or your prompts. Notifications carry only sealed data until your phone decrypts them.
Teams
If you join a team and turn sharing on, your Mac uploads one row per day: date, cost at API prices, tokens, most agents at once, working time and waiting time. The team's owner and admins see these totals with your name and email. Never project names, folders, prompts or code. Turning sharing off, leaving the team or being removed deletes your rows. Data of teams whose subscription ended is deleted after 30 days.
What we don't do
No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no selling of data. Payments are handled by Polar under its own privacy policy.
